Overview
The Satisfactory Performance Days (SPD) and Extended Performance (EP) Pass Report will transfer responsibility from Electricity Settlement Company (ESC) to EMRS. This change is part of our continued effort to simplify ownership and centralise processes.
The automated SPD and EP Pass Report is currently published on the ESC website in the Data Portal. The Pass Report was implemented by ESC back in 2022 to reduce the administrative burden across Capacity Providers and Delivery Partners from using the existing data.
The SPD and EP Pass Report will be published on our Settlement Data for Capacity Providers webpage. The aim of this is to improve the experience for Capacity Providers further as they already frequently visit this webpage.
Supporting Information
The SPD and EP Pass Report will continue to be published in .xlsx format and available to be downloaded. The frequency of publication will also continue to be fortnightly. During March and April, the frequency will increase to weekly, to support the end of April SPD and EPT deadline within the Delivery Year.
Our Service Desk will handle queries from Capacity Providers in relation to the SPD Pass Report. ESC will transfer knowledge to our Operations Team to enable them to respond efficiently to queries. We will be able to provide the latest view of SPDs direct to Capacity Providers and notify them of any CMUs that have not yet passed their SPDs and/or EPs.
Documentation
EMR Delivery Body publish the Satisfactory Performance Days and Extended Performance Guidance document and you can locate this via Agreement Management in the Knowledge Base and select the relevant CMU type (e.g., Existing) and scroll down to locate. We are working with them to clearly highlight within the guidance that the SPD and EP Pass Report is published on the EMRS website.
A new drop-down section on the Settlement Data for Capacity Providers will be applied and supporting information available for common queries.
Implementation
This change has now been implemented. As of 8 August 2025, EMRS publish the SPD and EP Pass Report on our website and this is available via the SPD and EP Pass Report dropdown in the Settlement Data for Capacity Providers section.
The Pass Report is published fortnightly throughout the Delivery Year. During March and April, the frequency will increase to weekly as the SPD and EP window nears closure.
Our Service Desk will handle queries from Capacity Providers in relation to the SPD and EP Pass Report.
