DECC are hosting a consultation workshop on Monday 27 October 2014.

Following the publication of the Electricity Market Reform Consultation on Capacity Market: supplementary design proposals and transitional arrangements on 25 September, we are holding an event to discuss the proposed metering configuration solutions and associated draft technical specification for bespoke metering. There will also be an opportunity to address questions regarding the proposed timeline running up to the first Transitional Arrangements auction.

This consultation workshop is specifically targeted at demand side response (DSR), storage and embedded generation which will use one of the three metering configuration solutions already approved by the Settlement Body. The workshop will also be of interest to CMUs that are a subset of BMUs and that may require additional metering. This workshop will not include the wider policy areas included in the consultation document.
