The Final Auction Results for the recent Capacity Market Auctions have been published and we are now able to receive and process requests for the release of Credit Cover.
WP35 – Capacity Market Applicant/Capacity Provider Credit Cover details the returns process and you will need to complete the Cash Credit Cover Return Form. Please ensure you state the following information when requesting the release of Credit Cover:
- Letter of Credit ID and amount
- Cash amount
- CMU ID/s
- Request is coming from an Authorised Contact
Once the release of Credit Cover has been approved by ESC, Cash Credit Cover will be released into the bank account specified by the Applicant within My EMRS or the Cash Credit Cover Return Form. The Letters of Credit will then be cancelled via SWIFT notification to the issuing bank.
