Overview
We have identified several improvements to enhance the clarity, usability and accessibility of our content to better support CfD Generators in completing the Operational Conditions Precedent 2.1A (Settlement Required Information) process.
Supporting Information
To make the process easier to navigate and ensure the key responsibilities are clearly understood, we have updated several key Guidance and Working Practice documents (listed below), as well as the Stakeholder Support for CfD Generators webpage. The aim is to provide clearer instructions to CfD Generators.
We’ve also created a high-level Infographic to visualise the end-to-end Operational Conditions Precedent (OCP) 2.1A process. This clearly outlines the key steps and timelines, making it easier to understand what is required at each stage process.
When the CfD Generator is registered within My EMRS, they receive an automated email ‘CfD Generator Welcome’. We have refined this email to include more guidance, helping CfD Generators to complete the process with greater ease.

We can confirm that these changes were deployed on 27 June 2025.
Your Contract Manager at LCCC will step you through the OCP 2.1A process initially and we hope these improvements will aid for a more efficient and helpful experience. If you’re a new CfD Generator, our Operations Team will work collaboratively with you and your Contract Manager to support you through these processes.
