We’re pleased to confirm we’ve published guidance enhancements to make the Capacity Market Metering Statement process more efficient and easier to complete ahead of the peak testing period.
As part of these updates, we have:
- Identified common pitfalls that occur throughout the process and explain how to avoid these. If these are avoided, this would significantly shorten the Metering Statement process for customers.
- Updated the Metering Statement (Capacity Market Schedule 6) template to include guidance on the information needed for each question in the statement.
- Developed examples of completed Metering Statements for different metering set-ups to demonstrate how each section should be completed.
- Advised Capacity Providers to use incremental versioning when re-submitting documents. This will help EMRS to clearly identify updated submissions and process them more efficiently.
