By 17 September 2026, the following CMU types for the T-1 Auction will need to provide Metering Test Certificates to the EMR Delivery Body (DB):
- Proven DSR
- Existing Generating / Existing Interconnector
To obtain your Metering Test Certificate, you must first complete a Metering Test on My EMRS by submitting a Single Line Diagram, Metering Statement and any additional supporting documentation. WP197 – Capacity Market Metering Test steps you through the Metering Test process.
After completing the Metering Test, we will notify the Capacity Provider of the outcome of the Metering Test. If successful, the Capacity Provider will be able to request a Metering Test Certificate on My EMRS.
