Capacity Providers are required to provide Metering Test Certificates to the EMR Delivery Body. For Delivery Year 2025/26, the deadline to provide this to EMR DB is 30 September 2026 for the following CMU types:
T-4 Auction:
- New Build
- Refurbishing
- Prospective Interconnector
To obtain your Metering Test Certificate, you must first complete a Metering Test on My EMRS by submitting a Single Line Diagram, Metering Statement and any additional supporting documentation. After completing the Metering Test, we will notify the Capacity Provider of the outcome of the Metering Test. If successful, the Capacity Provider will be able to request a Metering Test Certificate on My EMRS.
