We wanted to highlight the resources and supporting information we currently have available to support Suppliers with readiness activities ahead of the Nuclear RAB scheme becoming operational.
Webinar Resources
On behalf of LCCC, we’d like to share the resources available following the Nuclear RAB webinar hosted by LCCC and DESNZ in May 2024:
- Slide Deck
- Recording of the session
- Q&A (available soon via LCCC website)
We particularly encourage those Suppliers that couldn’t attend this session to take a look.
Resources available on our website
We have a number of publications and webpages available on our website to support Suppliers with key operational activities:
- Nuclear RAB Latest Changes webpage provides high level details such as updated documentation and preparatory information that we recommend you are aware of before the scheme goes live.
- Stakeholder Support for Suppliers – Nuclear RAB steps you through the operational activities and provides key information on actions Suppliers may need to take, including lodging credit cover for the first ILR payment.
- Updated Guidanceand Working Practice documents.
Information on Direct Debit
Currently, LCCC use the direct debit mandate to collect monies for the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme. LCCC is also delivering the role as the Revenue Collection Counterparty (RCC) for the Nuclear Regulated Asset Base (RAB) scheme which means LCCC will be required to collect monies for both CfD and Nuclear RAB from Suppliers. On behalf of LCCC, we wanted to advise that your existing Direct Debit mandate with LCCC will also be used to collect monies for the Nuclear RAB scheme once operational and you do not need to take any further action.
If you currently pay manually and would like to set up a Direct Debit, please contact our Service Desk.
