Defined and created by the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) in March 2001. A non-profit organisation responsible for managing the provision of the necessary central systems and services to give effect to the BSC rules. For EMR, BSCCo provides metered data, where appropriate, and this obligation is performed by agents of BSCCo, namely, Central Data Collection Agent (CDCA) and Settlement Administration Agent (SAA).
