Under the Capacity Market Rules, Capacity Providers are required to provide a baseline demand (in MW) for all Demand Side Response (DSR) CMU Components starting six weeks prior to the start of the next Delivery Year. During a System Stress Event, this baseline can be compared with the actual demand to determine the volume of capacity generated through DSR at that DSR CMU Component.
This year the deadline to provide the baseline metered data for the 2025/26 Delivery Year is by 5:00pm on Wednesday 20 August 2025, exactly six weeks prior to the start of the Delivery Year on 1 October 2025.
By 5:00pm on Wednesday 20 August 2025 you must have your metering pathways setup to ensure that by the start of the Delivery Year you will have provided six weeks’ worth of metered data.
