On 15 December 2017, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) published a public consultation, setting out changes that the government is considering making to the Contracts for Difference (CFD) scheme, which provides support for new low carbon electricity generation projects, to enable it to continue to support new generation and provide best value for bill payers in coming years.
BEIS would like to encourage you to submit your thoughts in response to the consultation which closes on 9 March 2018.
During the consultation process, BEIS expect to run a number of meetings to discuss specific areas of this consultation. Interests in attending these meetings with indications on specific sections, or any other queries can be emailed to [email protected].
