We issued EMRC77 to inform Suppliers that test backing data is now available to support their preparations for receiving CM Settlement Costs Levy revision and Settlement Costs Levy refund backing data for the first time.
EMRS, on behalf of Electricity Settlement Company (ESC), will shortly be issuing the CM Settlement Costs Levy revision for year 2015/2016, as communicated in EMRC76. A Settlement Costs Levy Refund may also be issued to Suppliers once the ESC has determined the total costs it incurred in the 2015/2016 financial year. Both these activities mean that existing data items will be populated for the first time in both the CM invoice backing data and corresponding DTN flow. EMRS is providing test backing data files, which include the newly populated data items, to help support Suppliers in preparations for validating systems and internal processes upon receipt of credit notes or invoices and the corresponding backing data in the future.
