Do you have a Capacity Agreement from 2017 T-4, 2019 T-3 and 2022 T-1 ?
Capacity Agreements from 2017 T-4, 2019 T-3 and 2022 T-1 require a CMU to achieve three Satisfactory Performance Day (SPD) during the Winter Period, of which at least one SPD to occur during the period from 1 January 2023 to 30 April 2023 (both days inclusive) for the Delivery Year.
Capacity Provider with CMUs in these auctions should check the SPD Pass Report published from week commencing 16 January 2023 to see if their SPDs have been satisfied.
What is the process for Demonstrating Satisfactory Performance?
ESC publish a SPD and Extended Performance Pass report meaning Capacity Providers WILL NOT have to submit dates on the EMR DB Portal if a CMU falls within the automated category and their CMUs show that they have exceeded their Capacity Obligation. Please note if you are aggregating CMU’s within a portfolio these are not included in ESC automated reporting.
The SPD and Extended Performance Pass report will be issued every 2 weeks and located on the ESC website.
ESC expanded the scope of their automated report to include Extended Performance and DSR baselining, this expanded process came into effect from 1 October 2022.
Where can I locate further guidance?
The EMR Delivery Body have guidance on the SPD and Extended Performance 2022/23 process which is available on the EMR Delivery Body website.
