EMRS, on behalf of The Electricity Settlements Company (ESC), would like to inform all Suppliers that following the Electricity Supplier and Capacity Market Bulletin of 13 December 2019 confirming mutualisation of the standstill shortfall, ESC has announced that there will be no scaling down of standstill capacity payments.
Capacity providers are to be paid in full in January 2020 for the CM standstill period. In accordance with The Electricity Capacity (No. 1) Regulations 2019, ESC will be issuing credit notes to capacity providers in respect of their standstill capacity payments on 13 January 2020, with transfer of funds on 20 January 2020.
