DESCRIPTION:Reminder for Credit Cover submission for participating in the Capacity Market Auctions. \nApplicants that receive a notice from the EMR Delivery Body on prequalification results day\, Friday 25 September 2015\, confirming that prequalification of their Capacity Market Unit(s) (CMU) is conditional must provide Credit Cover. That Credit Cover must be lodged with the Electricity Settlements Company (ESC) to participant in a Capacity Market Auction. \nAt a high level the following tasks are required to be completed within 5 workings days of prequalification results day: \n\nLodge Credit Cover in the form of cash or Letter of Credit (or combination of both).\nComplete and submit the Capacity Market Registration Form.\n\nThe details for the above are available within Working Practice 35 and 22 respectively\, these are on the Working Practice page of our website. \nWe’ve put together Applicant Credit Cover FAQs that may answer your query\, these are available on the FAQ’s page of our website. EMRC55 was issued to provide further details to Applicants and Capacity Providers on the Capacity Market Credit Cover and Registration processes with EMRS.

DECC anticipate sufficient space for all\, but if the event is oversubscribed they reserve the right to allocate places on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and to restrict attendance to one person per organisation. \nPlease note the exact timing of the event and the location are subject to change\, with final details being emailed to all attendees beforehand. \nFurther information can be found in EMRC59. \n
