DESCRIPTION:DTC Change Proposal 3483 (Improved Reporting of CFD Lump Sum Payments) to be implemented today. This impacts CFD Generators. Data flow CFD Generator Invoice Backing Data (D0365) will be used to deliver CFD Generators with ‘backing data’ that gives additional information on how their invoices are calculated. The CP changes the ‘CFD Ad Hoc Payment’ (92I) group of the data flow to allow better reporting of lump sum payments which will assist CFD Generators in validating their EMR Invoices. DESCRIPTION:Suppliers recieved a schdule of their minimium Credit Cover requirements for the upcoming Delivery Year on 29 July. Suppliers’ first deadline to lodge CM Credit Cover for October 2016 is 5pm on 15 September 2016. \nCredit Cover can be accepted as either cash or Letter of Credit or a combination of the two. Please note\, in order for Credit Cover to be considered to be lodged the cash amount must have been received in the relevant bank account or a valid Letter of Credit must have been received by EMRS. \nWP45 – Supplier CM Credit Cover provides information on the process for lodging Credit Cover including the Letter of Credit templates and bank details. We will also be publishing a Guidance document on Supplier CM Credit Cover shortly. EMRC86 also highlights some of the key differences between Credit Cover for Suppliers under the Capacity Market and Contracts for Difference schemes.

This Change Proposal (CP) amends the description of EMR Invoice Number (Data Item J9150) to clarify that EMR Invoice Numbers are unique within Contracts For Difference (CFD) and within Capacity Market (CM)\, but not unique across EMR as a whole. As each Settlement Services Provider allocates EMR Invoice Numbers independently of the other\, the same EMR Invoice Number may be used by both. This forecast is used to calculate a Supplier’s Monthly Capacity Supplier Charge and a Supplier’s monthly Credit Cover requirements. Suppliers have been issued with a forecast template. EMRS\, on behalf of the Electricity Settlements Company (ESC)\, will issue credit notes to applicable Suppliers. Credit notes are due to be paid on 7 April 2016. Credit Notes are issued to applicable Suppliers after Settlement Costs Levy Revision Invoice payment due date. This allows for the credit due to be recalculated in the case that not all invoice payments are received in full.
