SUMMARY:Supplier Capacity Market Demand Forecast
DESCRIPTION:Suppliers are required\, under the Electricity Capacity (Supplier Payment etc.) Regulations 2014\, to provide a forecast of their Gross Demand for the Period of High Demand (Peak Period) for the 2018/19 Delivery Year\, by 1 June 2018. This forecast is used to calculate Suppliers’ monthly Capacity Market Supplier Charge and monthly Credit Cover requirements. \nOn 3 May 2018 EMRS\, on behalf of Electricity Settlements Company (ESC)\, issued the forecast template for Suppliers to submit their demand forecast. A Supplier submits a forecast if they believe they will have Gross Demand within the Peak Period for the 2018/19 Delivery Year. If a Supplier believes they will not have Gross Demand for this period they should submit a zero forecast and explain why in the commentary. \nEMRC156 provides information on: \n\nWhat is included in the forecast template?\nWhat format should my forecast be in?\nWhat checks will EMRS carry out on submitted forecasts?\nWhat are the key dates?\nWhat are the escalation routes if forecasts aren’t submitted?\n\n

SUMMARY:Deadline for applications for Green Excluded Electricity
DESCRIPTION:Suppliers have until the 31 March 2018 to apply for a determination that an amount of electricity supplied is Green Excluded Electricity (GEE) for the Quarterly Obligation Period 1 July 2017 to 30 September 2017. \nSuppliers seeking a determination that an amount of electricity supplied is GEE must be in accordance with the Contracts for Difference (Electricity Supplier Obligations) Regulations 2014. The amount will be exempted from the Suppliers Daily and Quarterly contribution. \nTo help Supplier’s with this process: \n\nWP7 – CFD Green Excluded Energy on our Working Practice webpage details the process undertaken once an application to EMRS is submitted.\nGreen Excluded Energy Guidance on the LCCC website provides information on the evidence and content required to be submitted with an application\, the validation EMRS perform and the capping of GEE.
